Coming from the protected Pemberton forests in Western Australia’s South-West, the Karri honey is renowned for its incredibly soft buttery tones, light flavour and beautiful gold colour.

Reaching up to ninety meters tall, Karri trees only flower once every seven to 10 years, but when they do the honey made from them is reputed to be amazing. This bloom is extra special: For the first time in half a century, the entire forest is in flower and hives can be left to produce honey for a full 12 months.

A great harvest has brought Karri honey to be enjoyed again, perfect as a sweetener to tea, smoothies, pancakes, cereals and porridge.
